Steve, this one should come with soundtrack.
Obviously a spectacular setting. 
I guess the conventional thought might be to have had some late afternoon 
atmospheric light?
A bold portrait though. Show us some more there?
I'm still thinking on your border edge treatment ;-)

I just returned from the Canyon de Chelly,  and Winslow,  Arizona...


By coincidence, at Canyon de Chelly I  met Travis Terry a friend and  
a great Native American Flute player...


He agreed to sit right there on the edge of the canyon,  and play his  
flute...while I took a photo...
