I don't think it needs interpreting.  Kyle put together a fine set of 
photos on a selected subject.  He compiled a good book and showed once 
again he knows his way around a camera and has the ability to create 
thought provoking imagery.

To do what he did he'd have to have the willing cooperation of his 
subjects, and not everyone wants to be photographed, with guns or not.
