And since I'm a hobby user I don't go through nearly as much developer as Daniel does. But I always have X-Tol mixed on the shelf. I use 1 quart Ball jars filled right up to the top. I find that air, not light, is what makes X-Tol go bad. It should be perfectly clear, like distilled water. When it starts to turn it will take on a slightly yellow tint. That's when I throw it out. If you want to hear about failures ask our saloon keeper.
