Oh how I would love to own that lens. If anyone would like to give me one, I promise to call it anything that they wish. Apparently someone thought that WATE was such a great acronym that they made up MATE for the original 28-35-50. Mate in Australian is more or less an informal equivalent of comrade in Soviet bloc speak!
