[Leica] First computer

Thanks for posting that Brian,

As an electrical engineering student in the early 60's we were given  
a class project to program something in Fortran as a class project.  
It was presented more as a tool to be aware of in the future. Our  
small college only had one computer and it was nearly impossible to  
get any time on it. But we did put something together on punch cards  
and arrived at an answer. I believe it was for one of my math  
classes. It was quickly forgotten. These were still slip-stick days.

I'm afraid the technology of today is not appreciated by today's  
youngsters. Not like us old timers who have lived through the  
advances of the past 50 years and by our parents and grand parents  
before us.
