Subject: [Leica] So after lusting after the classical 35mm Summicrons, I read that the 40mm Summicron-c is a better lens.

Hi Vick,

That is total bunk. I have the Summicron 40mm (since I have a CL), and
in the past I have owned the 35mm (last non-ASPH version), as well as
the 35mm ASPH Summicron. The 40mm is not bad, but unless you have a CL,
I don't see any reason to prefer it to a 35mm. And you get the correct
framelines with the 35.
