By the way, this all comes about because I bought an RD1, and am having a
great time with it.

I don't own any 35mm Leica glass, but have plenty of Nikon RF wide angle
glass, and have been shooting with those lenses, using an S-mount to M
adapter.

Thus the lusting for some 35mm Leica glass.....

So after lusting after the classical 35mm Summicrons (non-ASPH), I read that
the 40mm Summicron-c is a better lens.

Is that so? Anyone have experiences with both, and can comment?

Even better is that I have a 40mm Summicron-C, and can stop thinking that I
need to spend more money.

Vick
