Both suggested crops are better.
Ted's crop is a very classic composition and a effective one, too,  
but personnally I prefer Daniel's version. A bold cut in half making  
it into a beautiful panoramic shot.
With a bit of color work (pushing the greens and blues -a delicate  
job) it could become very striking indeed.
