Yes, when I started to study photography my Dad gave me a beautiful 2.8 
F to use. Even used it at first newspaper job since the old timers 
insisted 35mm was not for serious work. Later, He took the camera to 
Mexico on one of his many trips there and it was stolen. There was also 
a Canon Pellix I brought him from Viet Nam stolen as well. Now that 
camera was quiet for an SLR. :-)
