However, maybe it's a point for the book we all hope you're writing - always make sure you know what currency you're working in, and what it's worth in "real" money! ;) Nick ----- Original Message ---- From: Ted Grant <tedgrant@shaw.ca> To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Sunday, 16 July, 2006 5:46:30 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Professional Tourist OK guys counting money was never one of my strong points in life. :-( Damn I could've easily handled that amount and in some photos made better pictures taking my time . :-) So I bow before you lads. Thank you. The next time I do something like this I'll take my very smart grandson along as I did last time. Before we left Canada he had the currency exchanges in his head for each of 6 countries we would be in, a small calculator and pad in pocket to make sure we paid the correct amount for everything. And whether it was a good purchase price or not. Damn smart kid whom I expect will be a millionaire some day. And no he wont be a pro photog! ;-) thanks again guys. ted tedgrantphoto.com Ted Grant Photography Limited 1817 Feltham Road Victoria BC V8N 2A4 250-477-2156 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eduardo Albesi" <lists@sololeicas.com> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug@leica-users.org> Sent: Sunday, July 16, 2006 8:22 AM Subject: Re: [Leica] Professional Tourist > Ted, even when I agree with you about the stupidity of bureaucratic > norms, Nick is right about the money.
