All the recent nostalgia over Agfa's demise reminded me I had a bottle of
Rodinal stashed somewhere in my darkroom. Sure enough, behind the 1937 Leitz
Valloy I couldn't bear to sell a few years ago I found an unopened 500ml
bottle of Rodinal! A quick review of the week's LUG posts revealed the
source of APX. I ordered 100 ft of the 100 and 400 each. Fortunately, in my
defection to the "digital darkroom" I retained developing tanks, film dryer,
and several bulk loaders as well as a lifetime's supply of plastic (no metal
detector ) film casettes. Memory stimulated, I dug out film from my 1999
sabbatical trip around the world. Sure enough, there it was, "APX 100/
Rodinal 1:100" on the neg sleeves. Beautiful full range negs ready to print
again, or, maybe to scan?

If the bird flu don't happen, I'll be off to India in a year. I wonder if
they still sell ORWO 125 there like they did in 1999. (Not a bad film, East
Germany's finest, loves Rodinal.)
