Don:

Been there, done that. El Paso is pretty far west and if I remember 
correctly the only minerals there were dust.  As far as mosquitoes go my 
intent was to compare them favorably to  some northern visitors. 
Nathan's comment about us picking cotton is neither original or 
accurate. If you recall from history 101 when cotton was king, cotton 
pickers were plenty.  Don, one other thing which puzzles me more than 
some of those Texas suicides.  It seems as these Yankees can't wait to 
get here so they can tell us rednecks how great it is back home. Figure 
that one out for me.

p.s. Don't think I mentioned voter fraud but will gloat about sending  
Kathleen Harris your way. As far as the wets go my last experience along
