I used to disparage the R8 by calling it a fat pig. After I had one
in my hands, it didn't take long before I bought one. While I've had
a slew of lenses for it, I eventually went with the classic Leica set-
up, 35-50-90. The Last issue of the 90 Elmarit-R does much better
than any non-asph 90 'cron-R I've had. The 35 'cron-R and the 50 'lux
are my other lenses for it. They are still very cheap, Leica speaking.
