[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]I,too, take photos for a number of reasons. a) to record certain moments which may be lost in the future of thinking about other possibly more important things. b) as a personal memory back-up c) as a record of where, when and with whom d) to share with others some things which, at the time, had a meaning for me, whether it be beauty, humour, a situation, a person or persons, an event, or even a particular success in the use of some technique or other. e) to share any newly gained knowledge of techniques and equipment f) very privately as a family record - children grow, if you don't have the annual events in your child's life on film then you can't fully appreciate just how time flies. As to what I do with them - as you all know I post a lot in various galleries on the web. I also supply stock photos to a couple of agencies, I print a lot at DIN A4 size, both to hang on the wall and recently as a (hopefully) saleable product, monochrome and in colour. I make cards for all family occasions, birthdays , anniversaries, Christmas, Easter etc etc On top of this I love using "milestones" ands oddities of camera and optical construction for boring test images as comparisons - just for me. You can discover all sorts of gems in the world of lenses.
