I believe I read a couple of years ago that motor racing was the #1
spectator sport in the United States in annual attendance. It is clear that
world-wide, Formula One is #2 among all sports in television viewing, after
soccer/football.

One measure of motor racing's TV penetration is shocking: I believe that the
three most recognized corporate logos in the world are #1, Coca-Cola; #2,
IBM; and #3, Ferrari's prancing horse.
