And he did not print his negatives. French magazine Photo published a special issue (May 1998) to honour his 90th birthday and on the page 107 his printer Georges Fevre holds in his hand the famous negative "Derriere la gare Saint-Lazare, Paris 1932" - the very definition of the decisive moment and it appears that most - if not all - prints of this negative are cropped, a large portion of foreground eliminated. Black border can be added easily. But this does not in any way diminish the value of this excellent image. All the best!
