Eric -

I took a workshop from another well-known National Geographic photographer
who told the whole class that none of the other NG photographers believed
that Jim Brandenburg actually exposed one photo per day for the books. He
hinted that it would have been easy to change the supposed documentary
proof of one photo per day. He also said that the whole project was an
unnecessary publicity stunt considering the quality of the actually
"edited" photos.
