Well, my wife will like this as I will probably not find any good bargans
on camera goodies. ;-) I was hoping to find maybe a good buy in a used 35
Summicron or something, but does not look good right now. Any good camera
stores in the Warsaw or Cracow areas?

Gene,

I am afraid no such luck--the dollar has recently fallen even against
the Zimbabwe currency, so what do expect? When I was in Poland last
Christmas, a dollar was worth about 4 zloty, now it is more like 3.10.
Even then, you will find Poland cheap (at least when it comes to things
like eating out, going to concerts and such, and public transport).

I am enjoying the flip side of this--my wife is going to Puerto Rico for
Christmas, and the fact that a dollar is worth only 75 Euro cents means
that her customary shopping sprees will be a lot cheaper this year.
