The DLINK router includes a printer server with a parallel interface. You can buy wireless print servers that connect to your printer in the same way. I'm sure that DLINK, Netgear, Buffalo and Belkin all do them. However, I found that printing times were painfully slow with my Epson stylus 950 printer over both 100Mbps wired as well as 11Mbps wireless links. Things improved markedly when I connected the printer to a desktop PC via the USB interface. I now use the desktop PC as a print server. I suspect the speed increase is down to using USB rather than the parallel interface. The disadvantage is that the PC upstairs has to be on when I want to print from downstairs. A small price to pay for the speed of the output IMHO.
