....and then one card got mutilated, folded, spindled or nibbled on 
by a cockroach. :-)

Once, after spending an evening at a cardpunch terminal while taking 
a Fortran course in '63, I stepped outside in winter in Edmonton, and 
dropped the pack (without a rubber band or anything around them) into 
a snowbank.

I like CF cards and CD's better. :-)
