The first time I heard the term "vaporware" was when Dicomed put out a press release 18mths before releaseing the "Big Shot" digital back. The press release specs - 1 chip, 3 captures (1 each for r,g,b) within the timespace of a single strobe - were way way off the finished product which never met the expected release date.
