Hi Sonny,
I use my Noctilux as a loupe and have done so for many years, particularly
on the road. It makes a damn fine loupe of rather good quality. ;-) Besides
on some occasions when viewing an underexposed slide or two the Noctilux
allows a tad more light through and they don't look so bad after all. ;-)

yep a Nocti loupe is the only way to go. :-)
