funny nathan should mention that. but about two months ago i was shooting a
band portrait in my studio. after shooting was done, we retired upstairs for
chineese food and the relaxing joys of the big screen t.v. and talking about
who got the most and who got the fattest groupies, a topic of some parennial
interest, i find, with any band. there was a james bond movie on and i
mentioned that i thought the walther ppk was one cute little gun. and this
guy (drummer) sitting next to me on the sofa says "it sure is," and whips
one out of his pocket and hands it to me. the weird thing is, that was the
_second time_ that had happened that month. now, i like guns as much as the
next guy, but do i have to put a sign on my front door that says "please
check your guns here" for people coming in? what's the ediquitte on that?
eh? do you tell your host you're packing or do you leave your gat in the
car? does one's second ammendment right end at the threshold of someone
elses door?

in any event, (you knew this was leading to something) i did a lead-in photo
for the website of justice talking (NPR radio show) for their show on gun
availability. i know you'll all want to see my swank shot:

i think they picked the wrong one, this was my favorite:

and the justice talking website (with a NEW photo of mine!) is at:

now. back to your regularly scheduled flair debate.
