Sometime back I had DAG replace the prism in my SL with a resilvered one and
do a serious CLA on the camera.   The total cost was $190.

A new Leitz prism would probably cost a good deal more.   Calling some of
the Leica repair people can give you an idea of what to look for and what
repair costs might be.

I've got more in my SL than in my SL/2 but I'd do it again.   However, I
wouldn't have put much money in the SL if it wasn't in fine condition inside
and out to begin with.
