My former incarnation was in the theatre world where we were strongly
taught The Audience always knows when you are ripping them off. I
believe that now and it relates to the American Public through film
making. The worst thing you could do would be to underestimate them.
They know. Lie to them and they stay away in droves.
Not that don't have their stupid side: day time TV.
