Also, since the M9 sensor is a development of the M8 sensor with  
identical pixel pitch, a 1.33 central crop from a M9 file should be  
pretty well a M8 file. A comparison will be interesting! What is the  
gain in the new sensor filters.
I can imagine the forum messages now, the M9 filter compromises the  
image quality, Leica sacrifice performance for convenience etc., etc..
