Outside of the former Soviet circumstance, British journalism works  
under one of the most restrictive environments on the planet.
Then again, on the academic level, anyone learning journalism in the  
US, at the multiplicity of Annenberg School(s) for Communication, is  
taught self censorship. A predictable mind provides a safe product.
