I have used a Fuji X100S for this purpose for the last decade with no issues at all - in the last 11 years it has never gone within sniffing distance of a Fuji service centre. It is a fantastic camera with a very good, fastish 35mm equivalent lens, ideal for this purpose - a real, well designed workhorse. I know talking practicality to Leica users is a mugs game, but that is my two bits! ?
