Hi Adam,

I started with a Leica IIIa and coated Elmar 50/3.5 bought used at Salem
Camera Shop in Dayton, OH in 1952. I spent my USAF time at
Wright-Patterson. The Leica was our family camera, and the kids grew up
knowing the Leica name, so the IIIf was a natural graduation gift.?
Sorry you lost yours.
