I think very highly of Jane Bown, She was a local photographer when I
lived in Hampshire and produced much great photography. Not all of it
portraits. I have to confess an interest though as she photographed my
father once for her book "Pillars of The Church", much of which centred
around the Church community in the nearby  the village of Selborne.
