Mark, I believe automatic tagging refers to the weaker version now called 
(again) Lightroom.

My desktop version is LR Classic (formerly LR Classic CC) and keywording is 
manual, as in the good old times.

OTT : I wouldn?t trust Adobe to hold my files for fear the jerrymandered the 
perimeters of their subscriptions and I lost the files to them for good.

Abode?s constant change of labelling of their products is also a 
(deliberate?) constant source of confusion. 

Watch twice before you subscribe. I had to change my subscription as soon as 
I discovered the flaws of LR CC now called plain vanilla LR.
