We were sitting on my neighbor's patio when my cat walks in and jumps onto his lap. Now you gotta picture the astonishment of an elderly retired farmer with a cat on his lap. I asked if that had ever happened before and he said she had never come close to him before, but there she sat, purring away like they were old pals.
