Subject: [Leica] Vuescan advise

Gerry,

The customary b&w profiles are there on my latest version, .36.? 
However, I am curious as to the benefit of these.? I just try to get a 
scan that is as broad (flat) as I can, preserving as much information as 
possible and then adjust as needed in Photoshop.
