Very interesting too the Philippe?s information aboutLa Alsace, I think that 
this is a worldwide tradition,  I don?t know about the the origin, but it is 
not only on the Coast from Catalonia to Alicante, there is too a tradition 
in the Pyrenees, I hvae found this information for you, ufortunately in 
Spanish, not in English?.
