Very nice document indeed. I have always found it curious that this very 
Scandinavian (or at least Northern European) holiday is such a bid deal in 
Spain, where the difference between winter and summer in terms of length of 
day is much less extreme, and given that midsummer is not celebrated in most 
of the countries in-between Spain and Scandinavia?not in France, not in 
Belgium, not in Germany etc. Maybe my wild ancestors brought the habit with 
them when the sailed up the Guadalquivir river in the 800s ;-)
