>From my experience, and I've tried a lot of off brands, it's worth what you
pay to have the reliability of the genuine Leica ones.  The off brands
don't hold a charge and seem to run out at the most inopportune times!  I
ended up taking them all to a battery deposit so I wouldn't use them by
accident.
