I tuned it to a station that played rock music all the time, the earpiece glued to my ear. One night we had a German woman guest to dinner, and my mom told me to "take that thing out of your ear!" The woman protested to my Mom, thinking she wanted me to remove my hearing aid. This phone thing will pass. Something else will come to anger old farts about how "it aint like it usta be." I work among several thousand young people at a State University, and I find them largely much more respectful, helpful, polite and interesting than most people my own age. Almost every day while loading my chair into my car outside the Library, I get offers to help. That never happens at a shopping center, or downtown, or even at the hospital. I know it is pervasive, but many of you must find it interesting as you post so many images of people on their iPhones.
