Not what Samsung led me to believe.... 

I am going to try this approach.... Because Dell told me to re-load ALL my
applications....
Easy for them to say......

What a cluster.....

Can't you clone the c: drive to the SSD, take out the C: and make the ssd
your c: drive? Then put the old drive as d: or something?
