Some lovely intimate shots Nathan, and I see someone walking into the sea
too. I'm envious.

I went for my daily swim today in the Irish Sea. It was about 4 degrees
celsius, is likely to be colder tomorrow, and Irish machismo tells me I
can't wear a wetsuit. Of course, I don't bring a camera, as, at this time of
year, it's hard to take a photo when you're shivering.

That said I may have to switch from Seapoint which is only two pedal strokes
away from my house in Monkstown (although a lot more back up the hill) to
the more distant Sandycove a couple of miles away. Sandycove and its Forty
Foot swimming hole have constant water whereas Seapoint is very tidal. The
tide goes out a very long way into Dublin Bay, and on cold nights the sand
freezes and chills the tide as it comes back in. It can make a big
difference when you dive in.

Douglas
