It has made my life very easy. No worries about upgrades, ACR not working
with a new camera and that sort of thing. I am not paranoid about Adobe, so
I became a member the first month they offered it in India (we pay around
US$8 per month), and have no regrets whatsoever. As a additional benefit, I
can subscribe for the other programs (Acrobat, InDesign) for a month,
whenever I want, for a small amount and unsubscribe when I am through - I
am not forced to buy expensive software for rare or intermittent use.
Cheers
Jayanand
