Subject: [Leica] IMGS: Chak Chak

They bring the water from the mountains in underground channels which were
dug a thousand years ago - ganats.  There is water flowing through most of
the villages in channels but many of the villages and the ganats have been
abandoned.  The ganats require regular maintenance to keep them clear and
clean and there aren't enough villagers still living out there to maintain
them.  It's pretty depressing to see the decline of these remote villages.
