Yes.  Right now you have to stack two adapters - the T to M and then the M
to R.  Leica will come out with a direct adapter for the R next year.  I'm
learning to use the 24-90 before I try anything else.  I've got it all on
automatic so far and am downloading the first 200 photos now.
