Douglas:  Wow, you actually have one of those?  Howard, I know HP still
makes calculators, but the build quality is just not the same. The tactile
experience of using one of the classic HP calculators is kind of like
holding a...  dare I say it?...  Leica.

Yes, that's my "new" used iPhone 5. I was deep cycling the battery once,
hence the 1% charge.  Tracfone (a very economical prepaid service I use)
recently allowed us to use real smartphones.  So I thought I'd find a nice
iPhone 5 that needed a new home after its fickle owner deserted it for a
6.  The first one I bought got stolen out of my mailbox  :-(  This one's
doing fine so far.
