Thanks for looking and commenting, Douglas. Most of our woodpeckers
with which I am familiar sport color combinations of black, white, gray
and red in various patterns. Occasionally the gray becomes yellow, as
in the Yellow-Bellied Sap Sucker.

I'm cheating this year with the camera setup. I removed a screen and
raised a storm pane, so I can raise the window sash and have an open
shot into the back yard. It becomes a fixed, but comfortable blind,
complete with tripod and cable release. However, the field of view is
somewhat limited.
