I am very impressed by the quality of the older architecture, and your photos from the Jewish Museum. When I entered college in 1947, there were a few students from Latvia and Estonia that had somehow made their way to the US after the war. Of course, being uprooted and moved to a new land, they had very little in the way of personal possessions, leaving the impression that they came from a very poor country. Your photos show the true nature of their culture.
