You are not lost.  You have just lost the focus of having a sense of 
assignment.  I can suggest a quick cure for that.  Look around your home 
and neighborhood.  You live in a unique culture.  I find the facebook 
pictures of the farm, the canning, the sense of being partially food 
self sufficient extremely interesting as would a lot of other people 
that don't really fit into and urban environment lifestyle.  Just a thought.

The level of discussion out critiques has become very interesting. I 
personally very seldom criticize.  Criticism is a lot of work and 
requires thought.  Criticism without the rationale behind it is of very 
little value.  It doesn't mean I like or don't like a creation.  If I 
were to be asked to criticize, I would expect to say exactly what I like 
and what I don't like about something and how I think it could be 
improved.  My views are not the same as many peoples and I don't expect 
anyone to agree with me.  I also don't criticize much because I am not 
the one to decide what is right and wrong, except for myself.  And I 
certainly to want to dampen the fire on the dreams of someone else.
