I'm glad that your stomach malaise has cleared up. I imagine that the 
hardest part of your recovery will be foregoing all those lovely viands 
that you feature in your pictures. But yogurt isn't so bad with a 
little fine Scotch sprinkled on it.

Today I was discharged from the hospital after 6 days. While I have to 
continue with antibiotics for another week and keep to a low-residue 
diet for 2-3 weeks, this is obviously a big step forward. The last bit 
of nursing assistance I required this morning was to have my IV 
removed; and afterwards of course had to take a picture of the nurse:
