Thanks Dick. However, my wife uses a Windows laptop, so that Apple TV 
solution will not work for her.

As for printed manuals, indeed, I think the "iManual" included with the Sony 
TV is next to useless. I would much prefer a normal book--which does not 
need to be on paper, BTW, I am perfectly happy with a PDF file that I can 
read on my iPad. That is how I take most papers with me when I travel on 
business nowadays.
