That is to say that in my experience there is a range of acceptable focus peaking effect as you move the focus ring (not dissimilar to a plain ground glass in effect?) but only one moment when the RF is truly aligned.However that is not taking into account focus shift which the EVF negates for you. Of course the RF is not very good at all if you want to use R lenses or long teles, or macros or third party adapted lenses!
