Subject: [Leica] IMG: Barcelona Fireworks! - Part One Color vs black & white

Because fireworks are colorful. When I see them in B&W, I just see some 
blown highlights. It is a bit like flowers. It is possible to photographs 
flowers successfully--Mapplethorpe comes to mind--but in general flower 
photography or, say, food photography, is best in color. Many other types of 
photography, particularly portrait and street photography, work well in B&W. 
This is why I carried two bodies, one loaded with B&W film and one loaded 
with color slide film, in the old days, and why I sometimes covert to B&W in 
post-processing now. 

You need an M10 to supplement your Monochrom ;-)
